Bi-Weekly Time Card Calculator

Total two weeks of hours with overtime figured per workweek

About Bi-Weekly Time Card Calculator

A bi-weekly time card covers two workweeks, the pay period many U.S. employers use. This calculator totals 14 days of hours and figures overtime for each workweek separately, which is how the federal rule works: overtime from the 40-hour limit is counted per week, never averaged over two weeks.

Formula

Pay period hours = week 1 hours + week 2 hours. Overtime is figured on each week alone.

How It Works

  1. Fill in clock in, clock out and break for each of the 14 days.
  2. Choose an overtime rule and enter your hourly rate.
  3. Read the week totals, overtime hours and gross pay.

Tips

  • Working 45 hours one week and 35 the next still means 5 overtime hours under the federal rule.
  • Check which day your employer's workweek starts; this calculator uses Monday to Sunday.
